What it is
PDRN is the new it ingredient in the skincare world. It took over the skincare industry in Korea long before it became popularized in the Western countries. Original and traditional PDRN is a skin boosting ingredient derived from salmon DNA. Since that is appealing to many skincare enthusiasts, myself included, VT Cosmetics came to save our skin with their vegan PDRN Essence made from ginseng. When used your skin will glow like never before, and look extremely hydrated and youthful.
How to use it
- Cleanse skin and dry thoroughly
- Apply Toner/ lotion
- Apply 2 pumps of the PDRN Essence 100, and pat gently all over the face
- Follow up with your favorite moisturizer and or sleep mask if using in the PM
- Apply a generous amount of spf to face to ensure you retain benefits and don’t waste your money and time

My Thoughts
This product blew me away with how good it works, and I now use it 1-3x a week. It’s a bit pricy around $30 so I like to use it sparingly. I always use it though if I know I have some type of event coming up that I want to glow for. Is a milky white color, and blends in beautifully. I find that it’s a great skincare base for when I use a base make up product such as tinted moisturizer or foundation. With continued use my skin went from dull, to glass skin within a couple weeks. I was amazed at how fast it gave my skin a plump and glassy hydrated appearance. I pair the VT Cosmetics Reedle shot when I use the PDRN Essence 100 to get the maximum benefit from all of the yummy ingredients in its formula. More info on the Reedle Shot can be found here.
VT Cosmetics claims that all skin types can incorporate their PDRN Essence 100 into their skincare routine. I find this to be true because my skin is not only combination oily and dry, it also sensitive. In fact, I found that this essence helps to reduce the redness in my face from having sensitive and reactive skin.
If you are after the glass skin look that has been popular in Korea for decades then give the PDRN Essence a try. You can usually find it on sale because of its popularity but don’t forget to use your FFGB codes to save even more money.
